I can't actually see it happening, but I hope one day Blink goes the route of The Beatles and they release big box set re-releases of their albums with a shit ton of demos/studio outtakes, etc.

 

This one Doesn’t have the clip I was looking for.

I like the one where Tom is playing on the acoustic and is talking about where mark would come in singing “lada da da dada dadada dada”

What’s the first riff? Sounds like Wishing Well haha. Mannnn I wanna get these demos. Even if it’s just crap like this that Tom was doing.

 

Interesting that Mark wrote probably the two most iconic blink riffs in Dammit and WMAA. I knew he wrote Dammit but had no idea about WMAA.

 

I want to say I remember Tom playing The War riff during some of those Untitled videos but could never find it. I know they were playing the Up All Night riff during those recordings.

 

Along with a live Untitled Anniversary show that they supposedly recorded.

 

Funny that Mark wrote WMAA riff and Tom struggled to play it live when they first started doing it. "This song is really hard to play so maybe if you all shut the fuck up I can concentrate!"

and after the first chorus - "I fucked up!"

CLASSIC.

 

Remember at the Neighborhoods Tour in CT Tom slipped and fell during WMAA and had to play the last half of the song on his back?

I thought it'd been confirmed that The Adventure, The War and a few others came from blink demos but I could be wrong

 

I believe Mark also wrote The Rock Show riff.

 

Honestly from the videos I've seen I think his voice has been pretty solid this tour

 

It’s gonna be interesting to see if that clip that Feldy leaked (the video with him boxing) is on the record. If it is, i’ll laugh.

 

More interested to hear the drum clip Travis posted a while back that sounded like ‘04 Blink.

 

His drumming in the bridge of Darkside is exactly 2003-04 Blink.

 

I remember thinking that clip sounded awesome even though it was like 5 seconds. I hope we hear it soon because that was definitely Mark in there haha

Mark said something like “Tom’s manager told us (Mark and Travis) that Tom was going to use some of those demos for his solo album (that turned into AVA)”.

I never heard/remember which songs if any were confirmed. The War and Adventure make sense though.

 

That song really works well in an acoustic setting.
