Every day I'm like "what is life in 2019"

 

I guess I should be happy I work for a small-ish non-union company with two fulfillment centers and never came across anti-union propaganda or rhetoric. Though I work corporate and not in fulfillment so I can't speak for their sentiment.

Are we on the verge of another recession?

 

Yeah. It might be a few months still but all the economic actions taken in the past year have been exclusively for short term benefits and would only ever postpone a recession, the global trade stuff is having s much larger impact and speeding things back up. We definitely don’t have people in power now who know how to reduce damage when the recession hits, so even though it is not likely to be as bad as a recession as 2008, it will be worse than it should be due to incompetent leadership.
