I'm gonna be sad if it's better than the stuffing lol. I'm kind of lukewarm on Grouplove, Foxing and O'brother. I've heard Grouplove puts on a good show, but don't have a huge attachment to them.

The Foxing dude kinda weirds me out tbh. Sort of gyrates around.

 

this is an awful take, Nearer My God was one of the best records of 2018.. I have dealer just as high.

Also Connor is awesome, they've probably become one of the top 5 live bands around.

I enjoy quite a few Foxing songs. I'm just not a huge fan of their latest album or some of the vocal styles. I can admit they are talented though.

 

Andy’s tweet makes me think the openers will kind of be out of left field (i.e. not the usual suspects they tour with) or else why would he tweet that?

Agreed! Was already considering traveling to one of those shows but then METN10 was announced and an instabuy. Them opening would be icing on the cake.

 

According to Andy’s Instagram story, they are in a studio recording something.

 

My guess is they’ve been working on an album for a while...Andy kind of alluded to it in his METN tour announcement.

Also, either Andy or the MO account did an IG live a few months ago where they played a new song in full.

My guess is we’ll see a new album in summer/fall 2020.

 

This makes sense, it’s going to feel like forever but they are worth the wait

Wondering if one of the openers for the METN tour is Matt Maeson.

Matt is a huge Andy/MO fan and has always talked about wanting to tour with them. I've noticed that Andy has liked a few of Maeson's IG posts in the past few months. Matt was also plugging Bad Books on his IG not too long ago.
