Lol.....I worked at a minor league ballpark in the city for a few years and we were the funnel cake stand, so we had a frier and our boss brought a whole bunch of random shit to cake in batter and then fry and goddamn the Oreos were so good.

Pro tip: don’t throw ice cubes in the frier. Or do because it’s hilarious. Just don’t throw too many in at once because then it becomes not hilarious.

Anyone ever try deep-fried butter? There's a place not too far from me that has it and I am tempted to try it

Like, I'll go to bat for butter over any alternative and european style cultured butter tastes so amazing. It will elevate literally any and every dish. But I would never eat it straight or deep fried.

 

I think fried butter basically turns into just an intensely buttery dough bite instead of like fried ice cream where it stays solid, but it’s way too excessive for me to actually try it and find out.

Fried butter is kind of a misleading name, it basically ends up like a very buttery cinnamon roll type thing, pretty on par with fried dough but with a much more ridiculous name as a hook.
