    I do not exist.

With all the fun of transfer deadline day we often forget the behind the scenes people who are make our clubs run in a different way - cleaners, security guards, caterers etc. It's pretty disgusting that we can pay players thousands a day but can't pay staff a living wage. Increasing from the minimum wage to the real living wage would be hardly noticeable for the PL teams.

Credit to the teams that have voluntarily signed up and maybe if your team isn't included, you could put some pressure on them. I'm going to be writing to Nottingham Forest.

You can count the teams that have signed up on one hand: Everton, Chelsea, Liverpool, West Ham, Luton, Hearts, Dulwich Hampton, FC United of Manchester...

    Footballs back!

In all honesty what's the fucking point of closing the Championship window yesterday when the league started back last weekend?

I re-counted that list a solid six times (I’m just waking up) before I believed that I could count to eight properly

Yeah, sounds about right. Putting doubt in our minds, I had to check I only had 5 fingers on 1 hand.

So how are United fans feeling?

From my estimations, you have no proven regular goal scorers at the club, and two known disruptive forces who are very patchy in terms of form in Pogba and Sanchez, both of whom are on astronomical wages, and one of whom clearly wants to leave. There's also a lack of good central midfielders.

I'm thinking United have as much to worry about from Everton and Leicester as they do Chelsea and Arsenal.

Ha, this was a terrible error but I'll leave it in as it's funny!

I think I got caught between saying you can count the PL teams on one hand or count the full number of teams on both hands. Instead, I've ended up looking like someone from Norwich and that's never fun!

Not taking away from the fact the whole post was actually good to read, I'm just in work and it was a good laugh :crylaugh:

I'm not sure I completely agree with what you've said. To my knowledge, Sanchez has never been a disruptive influence, and certainly never has been at United. Despite not being in the picture at the minute, he never goes out into the press to complain or stir up trouble, he's never gone on strike. He is, however, a terrible footballer at this point.

Pogba I slightly disagree with too. To my knowledge, his wages are by no means astronomical. High, but not past what he's worth. He also may want to leave, but again is not a disruptive influence. He stated he wanted to leave, but the window is now closed so he's staying. He never went on strike or peaked club data to try to force a move (Lukaku) and other than a couple of statements in the press, has never been anything other than professional on the pitch.

As for proven goal scorers, I agree, they're untested. Martial if fit and playing for a season could be a revelation. Although streaky, he has always scored when in the team. Rashford will benefit from being the clear first choice too.

Our midfield is a bit of a joke mind. Besides Pogba, we have no creativity. Matic is crocked so we have no true DM. People have high hopes for Mctominay, but I can't see it. Going to rely a lot on players like him, Andreas, Fred stepping up to the plate.

Didn’t Sanchez have an incredible Copa? Maybe he was just exhausted from almost four years of non-stop play. I think he could flash back for United this year.

I'm not sure about that, but he just looks like a player that has forgotten how to play the game. Balls bouncing off him, every pass to an opposition player, shots going all over, or just purely being in the wrong position. Every season it's been the same of thinking "this is his year" but he's just shown nothing in a United shirt to prove that (other than the City game the other year).

  18. These first couple games will be interesting for Spurs.

Son is suspended the first 2 games and Dele is out for 3 more weeks. The newest signings probably won’t be available until after that. Lucas will need to step up.

Rumours that Roma are willing to take Sanchez off our hands. I'd drive him there myself if they do, bloody hell.

Sanchez won't play this season. Pogba is professional and doesn't rock the boat when training/playing. Wouldn't say either are disruptive. I think we will get top 4. I'd say our team and style of play are better this season than last.

McTominay is going to be huge this season. He's a great Herrera replacement and hopefully not injured as much. Love how he's played this calendar year.

Sané tore his ACL out for 7 months.

Hopefully our fitness is better too. Our drop in form last season coincided with shit loads of injuries and the team being gassed. If Ole has concentrated on fitness this preseason, then we'll be much better prepared.

Hopefully! Even Martial has looked fantastic this pre season chasing back and pressing. I almost had a heart attack when I saw him move off the ball!

AM9 is back! Martial gets the #9. It was shitty of Jose to take it from him in the first place
