Weird go home raw....weird build for a very very forced and very very 'eh' Summerslam.
- Dont care even an ounce for Seth vs Brock, fast forwarded all the segments.
- I actually think the 24/7 stuff has jumped the shark a bit. Loved the stuff with Drake but I'm over R-truth/carmella being involved all the time.
- Still dont know why we're doing Trish vs Charlotte.
- As mentioned, that Becky promo.... amazing.
- Andrade vs Rey, the only build it gets is Cole explaining. Man, let Zelina and Rey cut some promos. Do a video package about how Andrade doesn't respect the lucha culture etc. I'm frustrated with this "B level" attempt at this feud.
- Roman almost dying is odd? Whoever's producing these need to be fired but 'whodunnit' is always fun.
- I'm glad they're trying but I just don't see it with Cedric Alexander. Want Mcintyre to do more things.
- So no Womens Tag on summerslam, so they get a long main event on raw. Bleh and that's the END of the icconics run!?! Lame. Super lame. They couldn't have ONE god damn program with anyone. No issue at all with them dropping it to Nikki and Alexa, but could we have let them actually do the feud with Kairi/Asuka. Shocked that the WWE/Vince didn't want them on TV as much as possible considering how enteraining they are. Match was sloppy btw.
- HBK vs Ziggler...i really wanted that. Goldberg vs Ziggler....i lol'd cause of the randomness.

There are 20+ women wrestlers on the roster who are absolutely forgotten and utilized poorly because this company is obsessed with a former cheerleader - it’s Diva era shit.

 

But in some ass-backwards way WWE booking has made the 24/7 title much much more valuable and prestigious than the women’s tag titles lol

 

This GCW farewell show is shaping up real good so far. Obviously Janela, but also Marko Stunt, Jungle Boy and David Starr all confirmed so far.
