I feel the exact same way about the Broncos offense. But I also feel very similarly about the Jags offense against the Broncos defense. It’s gonna be an ugly game, but give me Foles over Flacco every damn day of the week

 

Yeah Foles over Flacco. Their RBs are better but I like our line more. Their receivers are....better at the top. But like, as jokey as our guys are they are essentially WR3s which as a squad really isn't bad if we can scheme things right.

 

Speaking of scheming, it boggles my mind that the Jags hired Flip given how pass happy he is compared to Marrone, but I’m all for watching that offense become more efficient...hopefully.

Also, are the Jags planning to start Josh Allen at LB or DE?

 

Flip made that magic happen with Foles though so I'm hoping we can replicate it some. But yeah being so run heavy fucked us in the end, even when Fournette was healthy. Like, running off the left tackle for every 1st down and 2nd and short for an entire game is just painfully stupid (@Drew Beringer that's your new OC bb).

Josh Allen is a DE. From how they've talked about him though I fully expect him to start getting reps at LB later in the year/next season. We didn't address that side of our LB corp at all and I think that's just cause they like where we're at with our rotational guys. Obviously that was before the Telvin semi-retirement though.

 

The year is 2021. Clayton Thorson is still the Texans starting QB in Randall and I's Madden league.

I’m rooting for the Raiders purely to be entertained. No emotional attachment. I will likely just bust out laughing if they do dumb things and lose

 

Supposedly we’ve offered Dak, Cooper, and Zeke contracts that would make them top 5 paid at their respective positions and are waiting on their response. And are willing to let them play to prove more this year if they don’t accept. And Zeke is willing to sit out for more, so fuck him completely.

I hope Dak and Cooper sign already and just focus on getting better and better.

I imagine most of it isn’t coming down to total contract money but is being strict on guaranteed money and/or incentives to stop being an asshole moron off the field.
