At least 3-4 guys they let go because they weren't good for the jags will end up being decent players again on their new teams somehow

There are three games I'm accepting as a loss right now. Outside of that weve got TB, Cincy, Oakland, Denver, and the Jets. That's five there. We split the division and beat Carolina and Atlanta and that's ten. Not the most absurd thing that could happen. Bortles won ten.

Love is the best offensive mid-major prospect in college football. He's my fifth ranked quarterback right now.

I hate the offense that he's in when it comes to transitioning over to the NFL. He wasn't reading much of anything in the passing game last year. I will never be a fan of the modified hurry-up, no huddle offense because it keeps the QB in a box. It's watered down.

When he was asked to read coverages, he really struggled with staring down his targets. That will get him into trouble in a faster game.

A lot of the inability to read coverage is due to scheme. He's being told where to go with the football pre-snap. He appears to make pre-snap adjustments to their protections at times, but he is not checking out of any plays that are coming in from the sideline. His reads are being relayed down by someone in the box and they can be fooled by pre-snap looks as well.

I think the Jags will hover somewhere around 8-8, but I’m more likely to go over on that prediction than under just based on a lot of soft matchups they have. I’m right there with ya as far as them splitting the division and beating the Jets, Bengals, Raiders, and Bucs.

The ones that I think are tricky to peg are their games against the Falcons, Panthers, and Broncos. Falcons could go either way for, but I give the Jags the edge because of their defense and it’s at home. The other two are gonna be defensive slugfests. Panthers and Broncos are away too, and Denver has always been a tough place to play in for the away teams.

So if you give them one or two of those games, that’s 8 or 9 wins right there, which is where I’ve always found myself landing around when looking at their schedule and predicting how their season will go. I do think they’re more likely to have a winning record than a losing record this year.

Oh yeah Falcons could go either way for sure and I think Atlanta wins that one. All three of those are away games. I just don't trust that Broncos offense to be dangerous enough to not get completely rattled by our defense.

It's annoying because I think the Jags could easily get to that ninth win but also miss the playoffs lol
