  1. I’m so salty that Apple Music has it as incomplete - will just have to wait for the vinyl release

I actually really liked the first half but the second half was suuuuuch a drag imo

I've only seen it once though

H8's first half is exquisite, the back half isn't, but it still makes a really enjoyable whole.

It helps that it's probably the most gorgeous of his films

was discussing favorite scenes/sequences from the movie with a few friends. Leo freakout in the trailer, sequence with Pitt at the ranch (incredible tension in that scene) were leading contenders. a lot of love for the final/ending shot as well of course

Tate at the theater I thought was a great/wholesome sequence. One we don’t get in his movies that often.

The last five minutes is probably my favorite scene in any movie this year.

There's a lot wrong with H8 but I still enjoy it. Definitely bottom tier QT though.

The performances in H8 and the Channing Tatum sequence are great. I saw it in 70mm and it’s a gorgeous looking movie.

If I go back to it, should I watch the movie version or the tv version?

i heard QT float the idea of doing H8 as a play, which i think would work terrifically well as the audience would inhabit the same cramped space as the characters

It's slow as all goddamn hell but that's honestly part of what I love about it. I just love watching great actors speak QT dialogue at each other.

The 70mm H8 is gorgeous, just like the 70mm of this was. I don’t get to see a lot in 70mm but the last thing i saw that compares to those two was the master

Having seen them both in not sure one is really better than the other, just different. I’d say i prefer the movie/theater version
