Lol there is this bartender in Long Beach that I’m like lowkey in love with and we bonded one time when we found out each other was Dutch. Anyways, almost every time I go to her bar I tell Tonin I’m goin Dutch. Tonight she’s wearing a Swans shirt which is hella tight. And she listens to Daughters which is EXTRA tight. But the best part about this bar is that there’s a cat who just fuckin chills

I dunno. I’ve only lived in Long Beach for a year and a half and I have 100% met people who are for lifers. I just feel like there must be people in other places/countries that are awesome that I just haven’t met

I think about this all the time because I've traveled so much and met so many different people in so many different places; if I hadn't lived in NC for 5 years, as much as it sucked when I was forced to move there, I wouldn't have had the amazing experiences I did (or met my bf haha). And now I have friends down there who love me and stil hang with me when I go visit 4 years after leaving. I know they're lifers. And I have friends in NY that I met at various points who I have for life. To think that there's an entire world out there - not only of people - but experiences - I think about it all the time. Mostly think about what I'm missing lol.

Anyways good morning! It's Monday so time to be existential.

 

Also becoming more comfortable with the idea that some people aren't meant to be forever, but can be hugely influential for the moments you have them, and being okay with just having the memories has changed my outlook on that drastically. I used to cling to people because the idea of losing them was world-ending, but that was a lot of unhappiness I had with myself coupled with codependency issues I have worked on so now I am much more comfortable with letting people go when they want to go or when they don't Marie Kondo me anymore. xD
