We adopted a dog three weeks ago and having a furry buddy to lounge on the couch with and watch games is A+ highly recommend

He’s a 2 year old pit bull mix. He’s a big sweetie pie, loves to run around in the yard, and can often be found with his head in my lap, snoozing away while the ballgame unfolds

lol I lobbied for Rizzo but that’s probably every other dog’s name in Chicago. We settled on Ollie!

Man what an awesome Braves game that was to go to. Them winning was nice too. Last few games I’ve gone to lately the Braves have lost. I was really hoping Greene would nail down the save, but his teammates had his back and he will be just fine.

 

Dude. That was the most infuriating and frustrating win we've had all year. lol. What a game for you to attend. The crowd looked like it was rockin'. It's just a shame Bauer didn't get the loss and Keuchal didn't get the win.

 

Oh man talk about a range of emotions! The crowd was amazing. And yeah Keuchel getting the W and Greene the save would have been perfect, but it was sweet to watch Acuña hit his first walk-off hit.

 

Greene has some of the unlickiest hits against him last night. Two of three hits allowed had exit velos of less than 80mph.

What the hell they are playing Austin Riley at first base today?

Why not put Culberson in at first? OR even SS, where he is comfortable also. Damnit Snit.

 

It's weird that the Rays started the whole opener thing and the Yankees are 9-0 using it, so basically the difference in the Yankees lead over them. Otherwise I guarantee they weren't going 9-0 in Luis Cessa starts if they did the traditional thing

 

Well, those were some cheap hits. I guess I learned that Greene is one of those pitch to contact type guys. I really am not crazy about that in a closer role, but oh well. And what are the chances Jackson would come in and have a 1,2,3 inning. lol. Baseball pisses me off.

And yeah. I’d prefer Freddie to not have a day off against a righty like Gray. Much less have Riley over on first against a righty with good breaking pitches. Oh well. We’ll see what happens.

 

you shouldn't worry about that, yet. he's not really a contact guy. his K rate is over 25%. this season his GB% is over 50%, so when he does give contact, its been minimal. but it may not be sustainable.

Braves need to go ahead and call up JR Murphy and let him start a game or two. Maybe if Flowers thought his job was in jeopardy he might stop sucking so bad. He’s just awful.
