The manifesto is now making the rounds on twitter, along with alleged security cam pictures of the shooter.

Still isn't confirmed, but twitterers are saying the timestamp on the posting of the manifesto matches and the gun described in it matches the alleged gun used. Again, still all unconfirmed, but if it's legit, you'll be shocked to see what type of ideas are expressed in it.

What does it say and we’ll take it with a grain of salt

Good guy, but a bad dude

The usual right wing garbage. Hispanics, interracial marriages, Democrats are awful (but trump is also bad?)

whines a bit about automation as well

Headline made it seem worse than it was this time, he centered on getting politically engaged and “changing it.”

Would have liked someone there to respond “Joe young people want to change it but they fear that politicians like you won’t actually bring the changes because you won’t do enough new” but wishful thinking

  10. You missed this part:
At the forum, he went on to say, “I just don’t want people telling me on a college campus, ‘Oh, woe is me, I’ve got it so bad.’ … Come on.”

I think about shootings every single time I go to the movie theater.

The two times it’s happened to me in an anxiety inducing way have been at a movie theater and at a concert, but it crosses me mind regularly anywhere.

Yeah every time I go to the movies or a concert it’ll cross my mind at least once.

I remember last year in one of my college classes one of my classmates was doing a presentation and during the whole thing he was really pissed off and would be slamming the keyboard and yelling to himself, and then half at through the presentation he just took his stuff and stormed out of the room. He was just acting really unusual and idk why.

I kept thinking to myself “what if his guy comes back with a gun and starts shooting?” It was a disgusting thought to have and one that should never cross my mind about someone but it happened anyway.

The trick is to have anxiety about everything so guns don't factor in, it's a terrible trick

Last year at work we heard a series of loud pops from across by the elevators and it’s the only time I heard an entire floor, including people on the phone with clients instantly come to a dead silence. And just have that same deer in the headlights look of “so do we run?”

Apparently someone had dropped some stuff coming out of the elevators. But my coworker said it best “pretty fucked up all our minds went there”.

So, I’m a teacher and we are in summer training. Thursday’s training wasn’t about strategies for teaching, but how to attend to a bullet wound.

Wednesday’s training was for how to handle students who are misbehaving due to the PTSD a lot of them are going to have from the trauma of enduring a cat 5 hurricane.

If only there were people in the United States whose job it was to enact policies that could help with climate change to maybe stop these hyper hurricanes from happening so often and policies for stricter gun laws.

Oh wait, it’s just easier to pawn off the responsibilities to the teachers who are already criminally underpaid

I’m just so sad all the time. Anyone against changing this is an evil human being, no other way to argue it.

I feel very numb, so many of these shootings and instead of working to address them it feels like they're politically encouraged. Its so fucking anxiety inducing that they're actively trying to make this problem worse and any one of us could be hit at any time.
