Too much drama in my nostalgic eldritch horror thread, not enough mystical turtles.

 

I’m honestly more impressed that someone had spent this long avoiding spoilers for Endgame, which is shocking considering just how prevalent that movie has been on the internet since it was released.

 

This. I mean, Marvel itself is spoiling it on every corner of the world including trailers for its own movies. Not knowing that death is honestly impressive.

 

Exactly! I was very impressed with this website, and twitter for not spoiling it. So you can see my frustration when it got spoiled in this thread of all places.

Anyway carrying on.

 

I am extremely excited about the long run-time for this, given the unique way they did the films and how we know that the younger cast are featured in Chapter 2 in some capacity. Might even be why they haven't really said much about the extended version of Chapter 1, if some of that material has found its way into Chapter 2.

Damn I was hoping it would at least have some additional footage or something.

 

Yeah...I’m considering it but it would have been a huge perk for an extended cut in addition to the 8 min

There’s a 5 PM IMAX showing at my preferred theater, goodbye everyone.

 

I've never seen a horror movie in IMAX. Jump scares might knock me out haha.

I don't get why clowns are so scary

 

That's why they're called irrational fears

 

I mean my most irrational fear is that I'll walk into a room and find someone sniffing my underwear but no one's making a movie about that

 

Just cause you don't get it/aren't scared by it, doesn't mean it's not scary to other people, was my point. My irrational fear is tornadoes, and I've never actually been in one, so /shrug

 

Yeah I get it! The movie doesn’t do anyone any favors for improving clown-public relations lol

Sad there hasn’t been a fantastic Tornado movie since Twister

 

They should screen it in Washington D.C. cuz that's where all the clowns are.

 

You can't see their eyes, also two of the most famous clowns murdered children (Pennywise and John Wayne Gacy)
