Can't wait for my Raiders to make the playoffs this year!

 

I hope that happens too. The Raiders haven't been good since I've been paying attention to football and I feel like the NFL is just more fun if the Raiders are good.

I'm also not a fan of any team in the AFC so I really have no skin in the game

 

Fate would have it that the Raiders get good right before the AFC South plays the AFC West...

 

It would be incredibly satisfying to beat the Raiders

 

Its cool that now that they're good fans are suddenly chiming in on here, I guess they were too embarrassed to post here before all these big moves.

 

Raiders will be in Vegas soon and they'll become my second team.

Arians is a great coach, likely a current top 5, and he's not going anywhere.

 

Okoye was released because he's a terrible football player

 

Teams won't cut players who beat their wives as long as they are talented enough to be worth the trouble..

You really think they'll cut someone over a parking spot if they'd otherwise have a roster spot?

Nah the Jags have always been awake and aware of their drowning state. Hence why they fired EVERYBODY in 2013 haha

Mercedes Lewis is the only guy in the entire organization who is still around from then and I don't even know why he is.

 

Best decisions Jags ever made:
1. fire everybody in 2013 and hire probably the leagues richest owner and a GM who drafted multiple teams that got to the conference championship
2. Tony Boselli 2nd overall/first Jaguar player
3. Bortles/ARob/Telvin 2014
4. Extending Fred Taylor even though he missed more than half his rookie contract, he only got better and less injury prone after that
5. Ramsey/Jack 2016

How do you know this is a good move already?

 

All the other decisions are bad enough to bump that one up to #5

 

It would actually be shocking if drafting two of the smartest and most athletic college players of the last 5 years back to back DIDNT help the defense make more plays. Even for the Jaguars that would be a new low for really either of them to bust (of course Jack has the injury fears.) Those guys are clearly better adjusted to NFL game speed than disappointments like Justin Blackmon, Luke Joeckel, and Blaine Gabbert.
