Cardinals twitter is pretty irate but frankly they have reason to be. No one was expecting us to come home with Thor or MadBum or something but any move to get an arm would have helped. Even fucking Danny Duffy or a Lance Lynn reunion would've been a super solid move

 

i cannot believe Ian Kennedy is still a Royal. certainly the Royals would've taken corn chips for him.

well who would you have given up for Stroman? and even Noah? I ask because, for the last week or so all I've been hearing is Yankee fans calling the fan humble bragging about how good their team, players, and prospects are, but when asked who they'd be willing to give up for big names, there was a lot of "oh not him, no not him, oh DEFINITELY not him, not him either". You're not just gonna get GIVEN a player lol

 

They'll never trade with one another because the Mets are dingus

I probably would've been ok with Florial and a lower level. Not the top pitching prospect.

 

obviously i wouldn't likely expect that either but I am genuinely curious to hear from what sounds like quasi-sane yankees fans here and not the goons that call up Francessa saying the Mets should give them Syndergaard for a cooler of gatorade and clint frazier like theyre doing the mets a favor lol

 

Fans are dumb but they also can't name most of their teams prospects anyway so I kind of expect it
