I saw someone saying they were letting their players rot in the minors and should trade them cause all the spots on the roster are locked for the future and I was trying to figure out how you could watch this year, and all the changes and injuries after injuries, and think this is true. Like someone is really saying all the spots are locked for years and to just toss everything in right now for one starting pitcher? Does that really change the chances of winning that much? I dunno. Not sure I get the logic there.
