I’m not a huge Josh Allen fan, but I don’t know why you’d replace him with a worse version of Josh Allen

 

That ol is gonna be decent and yet Allen will still be 2nd in QB rushing because he's so innacurate

 

Haha something minor like number font is not a big deal for a lot of teams. But most of the old historical teams flip over this stuff, which I definitely understand.

 

I’m not quite certain of the catch percentage, but I prefer not to read into that too much because receivers can easily be signed by lame duck throws that are deemed uncatchable yet are still registered as a “target.” Brown can still gain separation and that may be why they feel he could be a good fit for Allen. Perhaps he can thrive with receivers who can get open as opposed to big targets because he’s already shown he can’t really hit those. From what I’ve read/heard, he’s been really connecting with Brown in training camp. Of course that’s camp though and we’ll have to see what happens when the season kicks in

This is the most I’ve ever typed about Josh Allen and I feel weird haha

 

Don’t get me wrong, I’m not a staunch supporter for Allen and I doubt he’ll pan out, but Buffalo is in an oddly interesting scenario this year. I don’t hate a lot of what they’re doing, but they are still lacking in some key areas

 

And good thing they paired him with notoriously hard worker and sure-handed reciever Kelvin Benjamin to start out...

A lot of that catch rate is Lamar Jackson/him not meshing with Lamar. Whereas Flacco can chuck a deep call all-day to John Brown.

Brown was on pace for his second 1,000-yard campaign before the Ravens switched from Joe Flacco to Lamar Jackson at quarterback. The 28-year-old wideout was limited to eight catches on 30 targets over the final seven weeks, torpedoing his season-long marks for yards per target (7.4) and catch rate (43.3 percent).

 

1. Josh Rosen isnt bad enough to get the Dolphins the #1 pick on his own but the Dolphins themselves are definitely bad enough. Same thing as the Cardinals, really. Only difference is the Cardinals were maneuvering for it the entire time with Kliff and Kyler. Flores isn't getting canned this year so trading for Rosen doesnt make a whole lot of sense if the plan is to immediately replace him.

2. If the Colts get Trevor Lawerence I'm done.

3. Tyree Jackson went undrafted and Josh Allen got hyped up all year and got drafted in the top ten. I will forever dislike Allen because of the media going insane over him.

Hate to break it to you guys, but the Bills will not be good this year

 

McDermott needs to hand over his offense. His defense may be one of the best in the league soon but if he thinks trotting out Allen/Shady/John Brown is smart then he is doomed to 7-9 forever.

 

I do like that everyone was like "Kyler Murray is a DIFFERENCE MAKER! You HAVE to pick him!" while also picking the Cardinals to go anywhere between 1-15 and 5-11

 

Yup hahaha. Kyler Murray is a scheme fit, you have to pick him or you look like complete idiots for hiring Kliff instead of just possible idiots.

 

To be fair they still are complete idiots for hiring Kliff

 

I definitely don't think the plan is to immediately replace Rosen, but in all likelihood they will be picking in the top 5 and you absolutely cannot pass up some of the QB talent coming out this year

Rosen's contract is cheap as hell the next few years so if he has to stay on as the backup, so be it

Outside of Fromm, I dont think theres any cant miss talent coming out at QB. Herbert wasnt going to be one of the top three drafted this year, Eason is a question mark, and I still dont know about Tua

basically all of those guys would have went high this year. Also add Jordan Love potentially.

 

Herbert would've absolutely been top 3 this year had he declared

 

Murray was always #1, Giants wanted DJ all along because they're insane e, that leaves Washington, who I think wouldve still gone Haskins

 

My favorite thing about Murray is no one but the cardinals were gonna take him that high, they could've traded down and gotten literally anything but psyched themselves out and stayed put.

 

Same with DJ haha
