so Vince's narrative of "I dont get the vaudevillains" ended up winning in the end. I loved the whole package and I don't really understand what's not to get? I think it was a very fun idea, and if you just toss in a little more about how these two are actually good wrestlers too, then i think we had ourselves a fun tag team gimmick.

way way way too early to give up on them...but that seems to be the case. There's no reason the Vaudevillains and The Ascencion should've got super buried within months of debuting while the usos and the colons get a trillion opportunities.

I think VV were brought up too early. Bring them up with the draft and have them debut as a staple tag team on smackdown. It would've worked out

 

#beatupjohncena is killing it.

 

I actually think they brought them up correctly. Timed it out with E/C, let them compete in the tourney. They even got a break in drawing heat.

Its the booking choice to job to Golden Truth that makes no sense. Either make that a 5-6min match with shenanigans that leads to a feud (would be easy to get the VV more heat), or end it in DQ. Dont make them eat the pin clean right before the draft to a nothing team.

Thats what the Social Outcasts are there for...

 

Speaking of the Social Outcasts, Henning seems to be throwing a bit of shade at the WWE. Curious to see where that goes.

 

vv are solid. the feud with new day was good, the promo after the enzo injury was good. they're capable of putting on a good match and their style is unique. zero reason they should be getting dispatched of right before a brand split with an already shallow tag division.

 

Sounding more and more like Moose is close to signing.

 

ROH card for the Philly show I'm going to next week is a slight bummer. No Cheeseburger, KOR/Fish, ACH, Briscoes. Really stoked for Roppongi Vice, Kamaitachi, and some Young Bucks. Veda

With everyone talking about whether the Vaudevillains were brought up too early or not, I think the worst 'victim' of getting called up too early has to be Apollo Crews. I think he's pretty decent in the ring (with a few hiccups here and there), but he really needed to work on his mic skills and build up a character before coming up. It's not like he's a powerhouse in the ring like Cesaro is who can skate by without having top notch mic skills. I hope them calling him up too soon doesn't wind up severely hurting him in the long run.

 

absolute worst is Dana but she's so forgettable that she doesn't even come to mind for most people

 

I feel like Dana is almost worse on the main roster than she was in NXT

I don't pay terribly close attention to ROH, so I'm not sure, what's his status at the moment? I see he's listed for that show you're going to. Is he coming to the end of his ROH contract and just basically finishing up the remaining dates?

 

That's what it seems like. I think his contract is up in August or maybe this month and he is already fishing himself out. I'm not sure how all of that works. Meltzer seemed to think it was close to a done deal already before something came up a week or two ago. I guess it isn't like other sports where people freak the fuck out if a team is trying to pull you away from another before free agency hits.

 

I mean, can you even compare the two?

 

She definitely is worse on the main roster. She never had to do much on NXT because she was treated as of she was green. On the main roster she's treated as if she knows what she's doing

 

Dana has the look. She is gold, not green.
