The intro and chours on Darkside are killer.

 

The AVA fans are doing well.

 

Liking Darkside much more than the other three released. Hoping for more of this kind of sound.

 

I love how people are starting to say that Mark sucks now because he just repeats the same words/lines over and over.

Has no one ever listened to Blink-182 before? Mark especially has been doing this since the very beginning, haha.

Matt's part at the beginning is like poppy Heavens I love it

 

Didn't we think/assume this one was Feldmann? He shared something about it on IG which typically means he had a hand in it.

Darkside is amazing. Now I need a rainbow splatter vinyl asap.

 

I'm not sure, you could be right, if it was Feldmann I'm super impressed and my hype is now off the chart for the rest

 

That artwork is awesome and I am having issues streaming it at work but what I heard I really like!

EDIT: was able to listen to it and it's awesome! I am so ready for this album

 

Totally not meaning for this to sound like an "I miss Tom!" or "This would have been better with Tom!" post, but this style definitely sounds like something he would at least have enjoyed making with these guys. I only bring this up because of that interview yesterday where he was talking about the "direction" he wanted blink to go, but I feel like this is a good marriage of all of the stuff they were trying to do with him vs. what they did on California. This honestly doesn't sound THAT far off from something like "Always".

I'm assuming that this mysterious 8th album is not Buddha, but either Dogs Eating Dogs or Deluxe.
I don't think they've ever referenced Buddha as being a proper release.

 

I was going to try to not listen to Darkside before the album drops but sounds like I should. Not hyped on the album title, as many others have said Saves The Day just did it and it seems lazy to me. Might have preferred BOJMIR to NINE lol.

 

Maybe ‘Nine’ is a reference to how many times Tom has quit the band.

 

Also: I’m very into Darkside. Matt shines here. Yes!

 

Really like Darkside, might be my favorite new song. And yes I’m pretty sure it’s a Feldy track since he posted about it and only did that with GD.

I remember the song title Heaven being in the background of an old picture someone posted from the band, so that’s cool it made the cut.

The album title is what it is. I don’t love or hate it.

 

True but the tour took place while blink was taking a break from their tour and recording the new album and it only lasted for like a month or so. It was rolled out more like a side project then a full time band album tour cycle.

 

Could be MTTS or Greatest Hits

 

I do like the album art but I know they're going to do like 50 different vinyl variants with all the colors of the rainbow granted they would prob. do that anyways though.

 

It's not bad, but im a little worried about the singles replay value. I really haven't gone back to any of them, and I'm hoping that changes when the album comes out...
