I actually enjoy eating alone so I can eat at my own pace, I usually do counter service and not waiter service so it's less awkward, I actually like doing most things alone which some people can't quite get

 

I agree with this. I'm a slow eater too so I'm usually left with half my plate when others are done. I also usually do the most talking while we're eating so I only get like 1 bite every three minutes.

 

I always feel silly too. I never think it's weird when other ppl eat alone but I feel weird doing it. I kinda regret feeling that way tho cause I missed out on so much good food! My fave thing about traveling is the food. Pretty much the whole trip will revolve around food for me lol.

Haha same. When I drove to Seattle in 2013 my entire trip was based around restaurants and book stores.

Which reminds me, I asked a gas station attendant in Montana for a good place and she could only think of the following two places: McDonald's and fucking Burger King.

I am so bummed right now. I hate dating.

 

I'm too food greedy to share meals lol. Once I was at a restaurant with my friend and she finished so much earlier than me. The waiter kept asking me if I was finished and I kept saying no and I felt so pressured eventually I just gave in and didn't finish and our hotel didn't have a mini fridge so no leftovers for me

Work got me late to posting but I still want a bf to go to Disney with and be cute get semi matching Mickey ears and take pics. But that won't happen

 

That's ideal. My best friend's husband loves Disney as much as she does and I'm so jealous!

 

there are so many "generic", small, seemingly insignificant things that i'd like to do with an SO but i wouldn't want to do them with just any SO, i'd want it to be with a special, meaningful one. but my love of being single, my limitless selfishness and problematic quirks will prevent that from ever happening.

 

i look forward to moving to a new city / state in three years once i finish this latest bachelor's degree. maybe there will actually be decent females in whatever city i choose (looking at you, Seattle or Portland).

 

@ChaseTx If you would like my opinion on the matter. Dates should never be made on a potential holiday bc of shit like what she did. She most likely wouldn't have pulled that on a regular day. Don't be sad. I think another date would be cool but if she bails on that then she's an asshole and #byefelicia ❤️

 

Yeah I agree completely and sorry for being so dramatic over a cancelled date. I feel bad for letting it affect me like that, it just happens way too often and I always get like that, lol

She did throw it out there that today would be a good day, which does make it extra sus that she cancelled though

 

naw don't apologize it sucks being bailed on. Like it's one thing to be bailed on cause the person got called into work or something important came up, but when someone cancels to hang out with someone else it's like oh. Hopefully y'all end up having an awesome date in the near future and it works out!!

ya I get really upset over cancelled plans too. cancelled date especially sucks.

 

I usually dwell on it for a while and then I'm like whatever and move on. That's why my friends say I'm still single. I say fu pretty quickly and I'm not really into 2nd chances lol Definitely don't say sorry for feeling sad @ChaseTx it really, really sucks and you have every right to be upset.

 

i love it and miss it 24/7. i try to fly out there for at least a week each year but that's not nearly enough.

 

where do you live now? I don't think I could ever leave the pnw. I've considered moving back to Caliornia since most of my fam lives there but idk if I could ever make the jump to leave. I can't part with my gloomy weather!!!

 

And now we are talking about going swimming

Wisconsin. i was born here (different city than i'm in now though), went to college @ Cincinnati, moved to Norfolk, Virginia. Then Dover, Delaware. Then back to my home town, then to a somewhat neighboring city where I am now. in ALL of these places i have had terrible allergies. but in the PNW? Nope. not at all (one of the many reasons i love it).
