I'm drinking a lavender soda while eating rum raisin ice cream.

I am officially both of everyone's grandparents now.

 

It's kind of wild to see green tea ice cream become so mainstream, honestly.

 

Lavender ice cream can be very good also

Basically me being good at defense and running the ball is Matt’s kryptonite. As far as running, that just keeps the ball away from Matt which is important cause he’s really explosive on offense. It limits his scoring opportunities and puts more pressure on him to not turn the ball over. It also makes him blitz less because I break off big runs when his defense overruns the play.

On defense, I draft coverage linebackers and user control them to have more of a say in how well the defense does. It also helps diversify your gameplan, since depending on the situation I often take a blitzing player and cover with them instead, or vice versa and use a coverage guy to blitz if the opportunity presents itself.

I feel like if you’re on the line you’re at the mercy of whatever Madden wants your defense to do, but at LB you can manually take away so many reads over the middle and discourage QB runs at the same time if you’re good at it.

I’m pretty good at figuring out my opponent’s “bread and butter play” and adapting to it so the other player is forced to do something uncomfortable on third down / after being sacked. A lot of Madden players love their drags and slants cause the computer barely ever stops them, but I eat those routes for breakfast with Jaylon Smith.

No wonder cover 6 gets you. That play stops all of this as long as I stay in front of Dak with whoever is covering the middle of the field lol

 

Except sometimes Michael Thomas jumps over two dudes and it doesn’t matter what play you called lol
