I'm listening to Chamberlain for the first time in a while. Deep Sleep -> Time Tables is fun.

 

I’ll be at The Wonder Bar on Saturday and i’m pretty happy about it.

 

i think i'm just annoyed that the verse melody to "anna" is so similar to "shalalala jersey girls are always total heartbreakers"

 

I always had a hard time getting into them and then After the Party changed everything.

I mean ETID has toured with Coheed & Cambria, Taking Back Sunday, even Fall Out Boy. I'd say it's possible.

I wouldn't have any problem with him tweeting that opinion--even though it was accompanied by some bullshit nonsense about how TGA/Menzingers MUST have released all these albums he doesn't like because they were cashing in and just rushed to release stuff. Dumb hot take, idiotic and disrespectful logic, but it's not hurting anybody.

But quote tweeting the artist himself and saying "all love, but the band you just recommended? they've sucked more and more with each album just like your band sucked more and more with each album.".....you deserve to get absolutely roasted for that.

Although I'll agree, I think I'd get 1,000,000 death threats than have Brian Fallon call me mean lol. You really fucked up if Brian Fallon says you're mean.

 

It wasn’t a full tour, but The Menzingers played Tid the Season last year. It was easily one my favorite shows to attend. The lineup was:

I feel like I have the rare opinion of my favorite Menzingers release being Rented World. I feel like it has started getting more respect but still find it incredibly underrated.

 

The guy had a shitty take but I do respect him for backing down and admitting he was wrong to say that.

Not something that happens too often on twitter (apologizing not shitty takes, shitty takes for days).

 

yeah 100% the same for me and now I'm revisiting their entire discography!

 

I’m really glad this song is called “Anna” because I swear I’d probably be singing “this place ain’t the same without you in it” for years if it wasn’t.

 

ATP was on my top 3 that year but after that i couldn't get into OTIP and RW for the life of me. other than "Gates" which might be my joint-favorite Menz along with "After the Party"
