So, Catching Fire is fantastic ! it honestly gave me chills, Sum 41 really knows how to make a slow song.

It's a bit different for them in a way, but I am really enjoying it. The acoustic version is great too.

I think i like the acoustic version more. Gives me a Johnny Cash/Outlaw vibe.

Catching Fire is one of their best songs in a long time. What a closer.

This is pretty easily their best album in years.

I’m not the biggest fan of 10 track albums because it almost always feels like something is missing. But this album is the perfect length. It’s a really easy listen that keeps you interested.

Wish i could have snagged the spotify green. The urban outfitters variant is cool as well. Also, even though I ordered the album on vinyl, i have a strange urge to get the cassette lol.

Yeah, but are they selling the new shirts separately? Thats the real question.

This is probably a silly question but what even is that Spotify variant? I've never heard of such a thing

Im assuming because of the green color, but who knows.

But how do you even buy it?

I think you can buy stuff from artists pages in Spotify now

I think I've seen that, didn't realize they had their own storefront for it. That's crazy to me. I assumed it just rerouted to the artist's merch store

  21. This is not good. I don't mean to come across as bashful, I think the musicianship and production is excellent. My gripe with this album and this pseudo-band (at this point it's a Deryck Whibley solo project) is that songs themselves come across as jaded attempts at a Silverstein/Beartooth-mixed-with-nostalgia copy and paste job.

I stopped reading after Deryck Whibley solo project.

They really nailed the opener and closer on this album if you ask me

They, as in the full band

Turning Away and Catching Fire are pretty easily the third best and best songs on the album, respectively. (Never There takes #2, but it's pretty close between it and Turning Away)
