The new Child’s Play is absolutely ridiculous and amazing at the same time.

  2. I've got some Netflix questions, lol. Probably gonna do Cop Car and Murder Party tonight. But how was They're Watching? And do I need to see Resolution before I see The Endless?

They're Watching is a very tongue-in-cheek found footage. Not half bad.
You don't *need* to see Resolution before you see the Endless but I recommend it.

  4. Here. I wish Resolution was on Netflix.

John Carpenter’s Prince of Darkness was dooope.

Watching Dario Argento’s Deep Red now, 30 min in, so far so good.

I enjoyed it as well. I like pretty much anything that Thomas Jane is in though

Mike Flanagan another rather new horror director with a very promising future in the genre. Cannot wait to see more of his stuff.

The original is an all time great, and also thought it was real for some time.

I watched the remake a few years ago and don’t remember it being horrible.

  14. Just saw an ad on YouTube calling Crawl the horror movie of the summer, as if Midsommar isn't called what it's called.

What’s the deal with Hagazussa? Should I watch it or the new Pet Sematary?

I haven’t seen Hagazussa yet, but it’s on my priority list. From what I understand, it’s painfully slow moving, but the pay off is great. So if you’re in the mood for something deliberately slow paced, then go for it. If you want something more traditional, Pet Sematary. I saw that in theaters and thought it was fun. It definitely played off the expectations you had if you remember the original film and did a good job of subverting them.

An inconsequential shift as the continents drift.

Absolutely yes imo - apart from making The Endless that much more satisfying, Resolution is magnificent in it's own right. One of my favourites of the decade

I enjoyed Hagazussa, it’s not nearly as slow as some of the comments on shudder make it seem.

Pet Sematary remake was excellent. I got chills a few times, will be a good addition to my October/Halloween list
