They were excellent in Boston last night. Though Jim's voice was sounding a little tired; had to adjust a few notes.
But really, an 80% Jim vocal is a 2131312% for us commonfolk.

In Maine they went on at 6:45, but there was a storm.

It's a shame it's not September since they finished making the album a couple of months earlier in the year than they did IB, and that was an october release too.

 

They just love October.

Jimmy is now a staple of my listening rotation.

 

There is almost nothing (music related) more exciting to me than a new Jimmy Eat World album in the month of October.

 

3 of their best albums have come out in october, hoping that trend continues.

 

I'll take another Irish show in November if they wanna visit us at the same time as they did on the Integrity Blues Tour

 

Saw these guys in Columbus last night, amazing performance as always but felt like an abbreviated set even for this tour. Think they played about 12 songs and nothing from Invented or Damage. Pretty sure it was due to the weather, it stayed dry for JEW's set but started torrential downpouring 3 songs into 3EB's set so we got outta there fast.

 

According to Setlist.fm, they played their normal 14-song set for this tour last night.

 

Shit, you're right. Apparently I was having too good of a time so it must've felt way shorter. This band can never play enough songs.

 

Yeah they are only playing 2 post-CTL songs on this tour. Not surprised given it's with 3EB and probably more of a nostalgia/hits tour for a lot of people but still.

 

Did anyone else order merch during that July 4th sale? Kings road is fucking garbage, I’ve heard nothing about my order since then

 

last thing i ordered from kings road (the mannequin pussy LP) sat in a shipment pending state for like two weeks
