Speaking as another Gaslight fan: I don't think this bothers me. Brian and Greg are both exceptional at painting specific pictures and sure sometimes their writing can get repetitive with commonly used metaphors and styles, but it has worked so well and I don't need it changed. (When Brian forcefully tried to change it up ... it sucked on Get Hurt and I was so relieved to have Painkillers when he went back into his comfort zone and the writing exceptionally got back to great).

It seems like the alcohol references and city/state/town names aren't going anywhere any time soon for this album based off the above description and I'm just so hyped for it.

Yeahhhhhhh $36 is pretty steep when I'm going to be buying a ticket on Friday to the show and my student loan payment is due this week ugh.

 

I already like Anna more than anything from ATP and it is 100% the production/mix/master. Sounds much more organic, like OTIP and RW.

Initially I don't like the song itself as much as anything from atp sessions. Though the vocals sound nice
