she's out of her mind sounds a lot like online songs

 

^^ That's my most bare bones and most critical review of the album.

Just like every other blink album I think the first half is absolutely amazing and then I get bored around the end. Like, cynical is up there with Pathetic and Dumpweed as an awesome intro track. But then after Home...I dno I could do without a lot of those tracks.

 

Dang, Mark is out sightseeing in Chicago today. I want to find him. Haha.

 

Hey I'm Sorry is a fucking dope song. Japanese get everything good.

 

Someone compiled all the woah's and nana's in the album haha.

 

Love it. Hopefully it's properly included on that EP they hope to put out later on.

 

Personally I thought No Future was the only song where they bothered me. And that was just cause it kind of unnecessarily lengthened the song.

 

Anyone else been streaming this album on spotify the last few days to help out their first week numbers?

 

Quite a few times during the day. Left it streaming on repeat overnight last night haha.

 

She's Out of Her Mind is going to be the second single. I'm getting ad's for California featuring "Bored to Death" and "She's Out of Her Mind".

 

Good! I think that's the best choice.

 

hahaha the numbers look impressive so far. Every track is close to having at least half a million plays, and Cynical and She's Out of Her Mind are nearing 1 million plays.

 

Not my favorite song off the album but it's a decent choice. If you look at the spotify plays She's Out of Her Mind is the most played song off the album (besides Bored, Rabbit and Future which were released prior). So I guess people really like it.

 

If I were their label I would totally release Sober as the 2nd single. That songs screams summer pop radio anthem. Third single would be Home is Such a Lonely Place. That could do well on all types of radio.

And while Los Angeles shouldnt be a single, it should most definitely be pushed for every professional Los Angeles sports team to use in their ads. That and California can be huge for sync licensing.

 

She's out of her mind is probably my least favourite song on the album. The anti social bit sounds cool but the chorus is so underwhelming afterwards and the lyrics are just awful.

They should release Teenage Satellites just so they can make another teen rebellion video haha.

 

I had such high expectations for She's Out of Her Mind and it didn't really deliver. Not something I'd skip over since I think it does its job in the tracklisting, but the hooks just don't sink in for me as much as other songs.

 

I liked it. A lot.

I know it's the most cliché thing to say, but I'm serious. It's been a fucking long time since I've seen Mark and Travis this happy during interviews. Absolutely love it.

Phone at work keeps ringing and all I can think is "there's s moment of panic when I hear the phoooneeee ring."

 

Woah, yeah. There's a big difference. For one, there's way more reverb on Skiba's vocals, especially in the pre-chorus. Also, it sounds like there's more reverb in general.

 

Lol I've totally had California on repeat on Spotify with the volume turned down when I'm not listening since last night. No shame. They deserve the success, especially after the last few years that Mark and Travis had to endure.
