I was gonna order from Target, too! Oh well, not much of a wait now!

I still think Turning Away and Catching Fire are underwhelming in comparison to A Murder Of Crows/Goddamn I’m Dead Again and Twisted By Design. Dave’s Solo in Goddamn vs his solo in Turning Away? Come on.

With that all said; I think this record is better than 13 Voices as a whole. The New Sensation, Eat You Alive, and The People Vs.. are all fantastic. Frank also sounds seriously phenomenal. What a great drummer.

I might give the slight edge to the opening/closing of 13 Voices as well, but I love Turning Away/Catching Fire and wouldn't consider them underwhelming at all. Agree on Frank as well.

I love Steve-O as much as the next Sum fan but Frank is so superb on this record. He was good on the 13 Voices but I think he was able to go a little more wild on this and I love it!

Absolutely. Steve-O will always be an important part of the band's history, but Frank has done an awesome job and has really become an essential piece of the band. I wonder if Deryck will ever reconcile with Steve-O. I know they are apparently not on good terms, but I thought that was the case with Dave when he left. But now look where we are!

I seem to remember reading Steve-O is a property developer now, I'd guess it's less bad terms and more he's just kind of done with music tbh.

Yes, that is his place of work these days. For a bit he was doing some comedy gigs, too. Steve also drummed for a band I believe over in Europe last year or so for a few dates, I do believe it had to do with Deryck's lifestyle, and he did not visit him in the hospital or following his recovery, but what @pbueddi said does give me a little hope maybe one day things will be different.

I can kind of understand where Steve-O would be coming from at the time of him leaving the band, but it hurts to hear that he wasn't there for Deryck after his near-death. I can't speak for someone else, but you would think something like that would make you push aside everything else. Maybe some day. Not that it's exactly the same, but it kind of reminds me of how Mark, Tom, and Travis reconciled after the plane crash.

Muse?? Now you have me interested haha, that’s not a style I’d expect from this band.

I’ve always been a pretty casual fan, but the positive reactions in here have me stoked to listen.

Yes, especially since in the past before the fallout, both have said they would be together until their very end, or 'til they die. I just really admired Steve on anything, and all of that hurt for sure. I can't imagine Deryck's loss, but he worked through it, it seems as we heard on 13 Voices. I'm glad Dave was there for him in turn. That certainly does make me think of Mark/Tom/Travis situation, too.

You know, in the past, Deryck had talked about writing a book. I think he ended up saying it probably wouldn't happen, but I wish he would. I'm sure it would be a pretty interesting read, kind of like what Travis Barker did.

I remember him saying this, too! And you know, he could inspire others going through substance abuse, too.

Would absolutely love to read a memoir from Deryck. I can see him doing this a few years down the road.

I really like it! Definitely feels like Muse mixed with punk influences as well. Gonna check out the whole album later.

Not sure why someone would bother with 128. Isn't that just usually webrips nowadays?

Side note: re-listened to 13 Voices and goddamn it’s a great record.

Anyways, back to being stoked on Order In Decline :-)

I'm not sure how I feel about this yet after the first listen. The production is pretty damn good but I think musically it sounds like generic radio rock in a way imo. I'm about to give it another listen.
