I do think Youth will sound better, I don't think Mark's verse is as much of a reach as Bored was.

It'd be cool if we get a broadcasted Adam's Song with Skiba's backing vocals. I want it bad

 

I’d love to see them play on a late night show but only play Generational Divide.

The videos of Wayne and T-Pain from the 08 tour zooming around the stage on segways looked rad as hell. Hell, they might as well get T-pain if Wayne drops off the tour. Or if Pharrell isn’t busy, get N.E.R.D.

Either way, that sucks blink fans are so shitty when it comes to rap. I remember when Bubba Sparxxx opened for them on the MTV tour, he got booed to hell and some fan threw lit firecrackers onstage.

The comment a few pages back about the tour initially going to be 4 artists with 2 rap and 2 rock is interesting. Would go a long way to explaining the stupidly expensive tickets if they were planning to have another big but not huge artist on the line up.

 

Lol I imagine blink tries to keep this tour going but I'm sure you must get refunded if canceling does happen

 

honestly get Pharrell and Lil Uzi Vert on this tour and the song with all three artists serves as an intro to blink's set. would be cash money

Blink's the headliner and if Wayne is right and "nobody was there for him" I imagine they'll figure out something. Maybe he was just in a bad mood and he stays on who knows. Gonna be an interesting few days

 

Just wanted to chime in on the Untitled talk from earlier. I was also there for the final Wiltern show and it was one of the best I've seen in my life. Even Tom was on his A-game for that show. I know how lucky I was to see it.

I reaaaaaally hope this is just Wayne being dramatic and he's not actually leaving, I was looking forward to seeing him just as much as Blink. I feel like we can't take his word for it yet just speaking off the cuff, we should wait and see what happens with the next show


Weirdly this was gonna be the show I went to on the tour, I've been to a million shows there, but we decided to go to the West Palm date instead as part of our vacation. On one hand it would have been kind of cool if I was there and got to experience the drama firsthand but I also know damn well I would have been incredibly pissed if I was there lol

If Wayne is off I’m not gonna plan on going anymore. Was a huge reason I wanted to go. That’s a real bummer.

 

I feel like the dialogue wasn’t only “this tour is stupid” but more of “I don’t want my kids to see Lil Wayne because I don’t like rap and that type of music” and other racial undertones. Which we called stupid.

 

If your takeaway from that tour discussion was “this is stupid” idk what to say. It was clearly about close mindedness

The whoooie thing including this gloating by some people that it all came to a boil has weird racial undertones all over it,

“This is bad for my kids but the band making dick and rape jokes is fine” really exposes people imo
