Been listening to a lot of Streetlight today for the first time in awhile. Think if I had to rank ‘em:

    1. Everything Goes Numb - probably one of my favorite albums of all time and probably the defining album of my High School ska phase. Like this is pretty much the Blink 182 - Untitled of ska albums for me.

    2. Somewhere in the Between - remember when this leaked and then came out, I drove my college roommate nuts playing it pretty much around the clock

    3. The Hands That Thieve - This one came out once I was kind of out of my ska phase, but still amazing start to finish.

    4. 99 Songs - Not a huge fan of cover albums, and there are few ska examples - Reel Big Fish (pretty bad) and then there’s stuff like 99 songs and the recent Mad Caddies album, where they are more than just straight up ska covers of popular songs.

    5. Keasbey Nights (As Performed by SM) - Love the original and this album was pretty awesome when it was released at the time. I just remember waiting and waiting for the follow up to EGN and so when this was released it was so worth the wait. But in hindsight it lacks the energy of the original and the snare tuning and sound just ruins it.

I’m just now hearing Tomas say “moderate rock” at the beginning of If and When Rise after having listened to this band for ten years. Love the reference.

Picked up the live album at the show last Saturday and have been listening to it nonstop. So good.

Jw, anyone been to any of the shows on their current run? If so, do they have an opener, and how long do they usually go?

The Saturday show in Silver Spring is listed at starting at 7:30 and no opener (Doors @ 6:30), so would the show be over by like 9:30 then?,

Yeah, that's what I figured, but there's nothing about an opener for this show (Or any of the other shows) that I've seen online

Oh to think we could have new Suicide Machines & Streetlight in the same year. But this sounds like a 2021 release with the way Streetlight moves.
