Seems positive to me. So if reviews are going out, then people have copies of the album at this point.

45 is the best song they've made in years. Something about Derycks delivery is incredible in it

Not listening until the release, but this is true; I think it was Goddamn I'm Dead Again where it sounded exactly like the end of Mr. Amsterdam.

This is shaping up to be really great

  6. 45 is classic Sum. This may seem outta left field, but the chord progression, vocal delivery, and lyrical content all together even sorta give me a System Of A Down vibe? Might be a stretch but it’s the first thing that came to mind.

Yup. System of a Down is exactly what it reminded me of. Especially the riff.

Holy shit yeah, I can definitely notice that, very reminiscent of Mezmerize-era SOAD.

We're All To Blame always reminded me of a SOAD chorus as well.

I can hear the drums during "WITH NO SACRIFICE" being like Chop Suey, hah

Lol yeah We're All To Blame is so similar to Chop Suey. Never bothered me though since I love SOAD haha

    Niiice.

My friend listened to 45 today and said he sounds like Chester Bennington in the chorus. Didn't even think of that until he said it.

I know it's hard to judge things from such short snippets, but man the album is sounding great. Really looking forward to hearing the full versions of Turning Away and Catching Fire.

Eat You Alive and The People Vs.. are going to be my favorite tracks for sure. They sound great.

Also, Turning Away and Catching Fire sound pretty mediocre and generic as the opening and closing track.

Also, also, Deryck sounds pretty different in Heads Will Roll which is a nice surprise.

Fuck I will never be able to unhear We're All to Blame sounding like Chop Suey now

  19. The unheard songs all sound promising. Especially looking forward to the closer.

Lol I like how we had completely opposite reactions to those two songs.

That was my first thought as well. The chorus sounds a lot like Linkin Park to me.

    Hahah ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Maybe I’ll be wrong when I hear the songs in full!

Are you more of a fan of the Underclass Hero type stuff?

Nope. That's bottom on the list when I personally rank their albums. My favorite records of theirs are (in this specific order) Screaming Bloody Murder, Chuck, and 13 voices/DTLI?
