They are making too much out of that kick. It was initiated before the bell and hit him after. Totally legal.

 

There was a time once where I would say Luke was rightfully a confident fighter. That was a few years ago and strangely enough he’s gotten cockier? Despite getting KO’d 3 out of his last 4. And they were all BRUTAL KO’s. Can’t believe he still hasn’t been even remotely humbled.

He was in there smiling, kind of being a bit lofty with his kicks, and totally not catching onto the fact that he was not guarding his head at ALL. Like, Luke, when has your dodge game ever been that good that you’re getting cracked and you continue to meet in the center with your guard down? Total idiot. He was asking to get clocked.

 

So hard to choose who I want to win this one since I like both guys but lets go Askren!!!

 

Should be an entertaining fight; really curious to see what Askren is capable of

Accidentally posted in the wrong thread earlier but I said I thought Luke would get slammed. No one ever gets focused on their NEXT potential fight and then wins the one right in front of them.

 

Man, I wanted to see a fight with this one... Not some quick lucky knock out. The trash talking was interesting.

 

Holy shit. Ben was beyond too predictable with that immediate takedown. Really rough seeing those follow up shots too. Ben is seriously hurt, and I wonder how this is gonna effect his game strategy from here on out.
