Same. I don't think anything quite touches Bored but as a whole I'm actually happier with these pre-release songs than with the California ones

 

This album is shaping up to be the new Untitled record!

 

They're going to call it Untitled pt 2 and open the album with Feeling This Again

 

To me BIOMY = Feeling This of 2019.

 

Once I got used to the different production, the elements are very reminiscent of it. It's hilarious how people were saying how it wasn't blink

 

I'm still giving this song a shot and it's still not hitting home for me. These first three songs haven't been stellar imo. I was hoping to get knocked over like I did when BTD was released.

 

I was in that crowd and can confirm it was that wild.

 

I like all three songs better than anything on Deluxe Cali, so that's really all I needed to be happy.

 

Very interesting, what do you like better about these songs than the Cali deluxe songs ?

 

Because everyone has their opinion: I dig all 3 so far. BIOMY didn't grab me at first but it just would not get outta my head and it grew on me hard. I love GD because I'm a sucker for double-time. HD hit that sweet spot in between BIOMY and GD for me, listened to it on repeat like 30 times in a row while at work haha.

I'm just super stoked to hear the rest of the record and see what else they have in store for us. Today is a happy day indeed :D

"album info" is a bit vague - album is coming in september, but we don't officially know the title and there are no pre-orders available yet as far as i'm aware.

 

All of those songs felt like ideas of songs that had no real place or purpose. Things the band can do in their sleep and make sound exactly like that. Very little interesting happens in them, and more than anything they're just ok versions of everything they've done before.

However, @skurt offered to match his donation if I did a track by track as well, so I will be doing one too

 

@bradsonemanband any idea what charity and how much you’ll be donating? I suggested RAINN but if anyone else has another idea

 

This video reminded me of the First Date video. Boomer and Spaulding are reunited.

By the way, the new Black Keys album is great!

 

I'll happily do $10 to RAINN. I wish I could do more, but I'm saving up for a wedding and just paid all of my bills.

 

Happy Days is incredible. I love BIOMY too & Generational Divide is fun but Happy Days is easily my favorite of the three.

 

I actually really like Happy Days.

 

I’m really interested to hear how sequencing will go on this new album with how different these 3 songs are from each other.

 

All 3 of these are easily better than anything off Cali Deluxe, not even close

 

I honestly didn't like anything off of Deluxe and I liked every single Blink album. I thought California for the most part was a fun return to form

 

But 6/8 is so cool
