It Follows had a good one. Especially not knowing what the hell was going on when you first see it

 

I am so fucking excited for Midsommar on Tuesday night.

 

I knew I was forgetting a huge one!!

 

Anybody working on any best of lists for the decade?

 

Omgosh I didn't realize it was so soon. Guess I'm doing a Midsommar/Far From Home double feature?

 

Ugh everything about the Ring is so great. I live for the dreary #aesthetic

 

Definitely need a Ring rewatch soon.

New Child’s Play was fine. Dolls looked like absolute shit, cgi was god awful, but pleasantly surprised most of the kills were practical effects.

did it bother anyone else that the one dude apparently had a WiFi enabled smart table saw in the basement of this apartment complex?

 

It’s 90 degrees out today and I literally cannot take the heat. I was thinking about going to see the new Annabelle movie during $6 matinee hours. Do you need to have seen the other Annabelle movies for it? I’ve only seen the mainline Conjuring movies.

 

Man The Blackcoats Daughter starts off so slow, and brooding. Then 75% through it leans in so fucking hard damn. Now I’m absolutely terrified of Kiernan

 

It would help if you say Annabelle creation. Also: just watch Annabelle: creation instead.

 

I'm almost positive I remember Chucky hitting a button to activate the table saw

Also, I hated the doll design at first, but I think that was the point? I found it more unsettling and effective as the film went on.

 

I distinctly remember hearing some Alexa style voice saying “activating table saw” where as we saw Chuckie hit the buttons on the tiller in the first kill

 

Yeah, I saw Child's play yesterday and thought it was actually a pretty good modern interpretation. The original is a child good favorite, but nothing spectacular at all. Only problem I had with this was the opening scene. I don't think that was necessary at all and they didn't really need to explain why Chucky is the way he is.

 

Child's play is my fave horror franchise that isn't Scream. Feel like I'm in the minority with that lol

 

Saw Child’s Play today out of boredom and I thought I was in a good frame of mind going in but man it screwed with my anxiety by the end. Normally I can handle gore. As a remake it was fine and the advanced technology aspect seemed like the right route for modern times.

Also every time Chucky said “Are we having fun now” this always popped in my head

 

lookin at tickets for Midsommar tomorrow and only just now noticed the runtime is 140 minutes?!

I know I'm in the minority but I just can't stand him. Like I LOVE The Good Place but he's the one thing I don't like about it.

 

Ben Wyatt was boyfriend goals in parks and rec and was an iconic bully in bmw. But I didn't like party down tbh
