They actually kinda push the milkshakes hard at the one I (rarely) go to. But I've never seen a single soul drinking one ever.

Friendly's is platinum plate club and if you disagree you can suck my entire fuckin ass

when the food industry leaned into health consciousness in the '00s, Friendly's said fuck you and took a hard turn in the opposite direction and stuck with it no matter how many stores wound up closing. they have done the northeast a great service.

 

I will always love Friendly's but I haven't been in a few years, even though there is essentially one in every town in western Mass. There's actually one within walking distance from apartment. Friendly's used to be the place everyone would meet up after a school event or a high school football game.

The honey bbq chicken supermelt fucks so hard though. Maybe it's time to go back, or at least Door Dash a sundae

Friendly's was a very important part of my growing up also that bbq chicken melt probably shaved years off my life

A friend of mine once ate that big 12 scoops ice cream platter they offer all by himself, for almost no reason at all

Oh man the Crowd Pleaser, that was definitely something my friends and I ordered all the time. We would each take turns picking what flavor scoops we wanted and everyone would get mad at me for picking something that would throw off the rest of the flavors lol
