As if it being the Friday before the long 4th of July weekend isn't making me go crazy enough, I have the same pre-order package out for delivery right now. SO stoked!

Only poor performances I've seen were just in acoustic sets where they didn't bother hitting high notes.

    Things have changed.

Listen to him try to hit "meaning" "dream", etc. You can see in his face how hard he's straining to hit those notes. He even changes the note on "17" because it's too high for him.

You seem very defensive that people think the song is in the wrong key for Mark's vocals. TO ME, it's hard to listen to him struggle to hit notes, the same way it was hard to listen to Tom struggle to hit notes. It's especially bad in this song.

I just think lot of these comments are funny. Clearly you can tell Mark has a low vocal mix, especially when Matt's vocals kick in. The words brutal, and no where close that are being used to described the performance are a bit over the top to take seriously.

A low vocal mix is why he can't hit the notes? Come on...

He's struggled to hit the notes in virtually every performance of this song.

When you have a low vocal mix, you have difficulty hearing yourself sing. That's how it works.

Not really, it's just over the top comments sometimes I have to roll my eyes.

And that's why bands use in-ear monitors so they can control their own mixes.

    "That's how it works."

    MOVING ON ....

They haven't done "Rabbit Hole" live yet, have they? Kinda surprising.

I'd take "Cynical", "She's Out of Her Mind", "Sober", "Teenage Satellites", "Left Alone", "San Diego", or "The Only Thing That Matters" live over "Bored to Death". That song might be in the bottom five on the record, actually, even excluding joke songs.

You don't change your mix, mid-song, just as it begins, at the beginning of the set while singing and playing at the same time. That's not how that works. Not to mention what's being played live has an affect as well.

Given the album several listens now. For the most part I think it's great, but I just can't stand Sober. To me that's gotta be one of the worst Blink songs. Its not even that the song itself is bad, it's just that it sounds so unnatural coming out of mark's mouth.
