Is my area just different or is it really unusual to have seats behind the lawn? I don't think I've ever seen that

I believe the back part is actually a balcony and the image just makes it seem like there’s seats behind the lawn.

That response to "is it a good investment" from Mark on Twitter is fantastic

    Sleekest of beaks. So Good.

Notice how he says "Paris" instead of pairs. That was a working title, maybe a hint to the next song released?

When Your Heart Stops Beating is a great record. The reviews at the time were like "it sounds like Blink!" wish seems reductive. I mean, it does but what does that mean quality wise? It doesn't need to be super different from Blink to be good and "sounding like Blink" is pretty meaningless when it comes to criticising it.

Personally it might be my second favorite Mark record behind Untitled and Enema. I still go back to it from time to time.

Heard a rumor this morning that the CT show on Saturday is postponed until September. Stay tuned.

    @arewehavingfunyet

EDIT: Nevermind friend say they moved the Ohio show and assumed the whole tour was being moved (my friend is an idiot).

I see a lot of people on here who are saying they don’t buy the production issues excuse. As someone who works in the industry, I can guarantee you that is what happened. Any major tour like the one blink is about to go out on isn’t a simple plug in and play. There is a crew of 100+. 20 trucks, 100,000s pounds of gear etc. a tour this scale runs more like a broadway show than a simple concert.

Sounds like maybe A: oh shit the rig is too heavy for what is allowed at the first venue and possibly more. What can we lose from the show? Oh shit this is gonna take a couple days to engineer. B: the production itself not done. Lighting designer drop the ball? Automation rig tracks failing more than usual? Who knows. C. The dress rehearsal didn’t go as planned and they’re is a restructure.

There are so many things that go into a concert. And a lot that can go wrong. Y’all need to take a minute and use your brain

What do you do for work?

My brother is a lighting designer and I can guarantee they wouldn't postpone the first show of a tour over lighting design issues. That stuff is designed and worked out well in advance, much like other parts of a big production like this.

We get it, it's a big show and a lot goes into it. They've been doing this for a long time, they should be prepared and have a good crew they trust to make this go off without a hitch. The only thing I can see that is preventing them from playing in OH tomorrow but they will be ready to go 2 days later in CT is an issue with the venue in OH or it was in fact the really low ticket sales for that specific show.

Another example of a show being cancelled where a band makes up an excuse rather than admit 'poor ticket sales' (Apparently the venue was selling tickets for half-price a day before the 'scheduling conflict' announcement)

If we're gonna keep arguing about ticket sales and blink lying or not lying and the definition of cynical, then i reserve the right to go back to joking about Tom re-joining the band and Matt secretly hating Mark.

Tom is using his alien powers to prevent people from buying tickets all while fucking with Blink's production equipment.

TBS deleted their FB post about the show cancellation because there were several comments about people calling the venue and the venue saying it was the band and at least a dozen comments about the show being undersold and how the venue was selling tickets half-off just the day before the cancellation announcement.

Now I Know This World Isn’t Spinning Just For Me Prestigious

I’ve had a band cancel on me for this reason, the venue say it’s untrue, only for another band to be playing thy Venue that night. Venues can lie too

I was literally just thinking "why are fans so desperate to believe their favorite band is lying that they give 100% benefit of the doubt to the venue/booker."

Then I realized i could have just stopped at "why are fans so desperate to believe their favorite band is lying to them"

Eh...why would the venue feel the need to cut the prices in half a few days before the show? Clearly, they were trying to move tickets.

Also FWIW (and there are DOZENS of similar comments like this online)

Hot take: everyone is capable of lying, there will always be a lack of transparency in one way or another, and it is very hard for people to change their minds when their opinion has already been made on a certain subject.
