    It's a shame TEN will always be overlooked because their most popular song is their most whiney bullshit

    "Ever So Sweet" sounds like a 13 year old playing Dashboard Confessional. Easily my least favorite song on the record / one of my least favorite songs of theirs in general.

    And then the rest of that record slaps and shows they can do brooding / somewhat heavy post-hardcore stuff (and also shows they can write much better pop-punk songs than that shit too)

    I picked up shifts every day of the week after today because I'm trying to go see Built To Spill. Once my rent's paid I am buying those damn tickets. I will motherfucking go busk on the street for the money to go to that show.

    yeah but he was 20 when he recorded it!!!!

    To be fair when I was 18 I made a whiney ass record that copped TEN so... lol. I have a song on there that structurally is literally so obvious I wanted it to sound like "A Little More Time"

    He was like 16 when he wrote that album. Some stuff is cheesy on it but in almost an endearing way

    Direction is their best though
