    Forgive me, Nashville

I've listened to "San Diego" three times in a row. Easily my favorite song on the album.

Probably. "Left Alone" is still a better song.

Just listened to it. It wasn't as bad as I feared. I'm happy that both Mark and Travis are making music again.

I still miss Tom. Hopefully when he comes back from space, he will make something good with AVA again.

I've been listening to the album nonstop since last week but ended up cutting a couple of the songs out. Listening through the whole thing tonight and "Teenage Satellites" has really grown on me. Adding that one back into the mix for sure.

Left Alone and San Diego are still my favorites and Left Alone is feeling like a top 3 all time favorite Blink song for me. Right next to Not Now and Stockholm.

I really hope this record goes platinum. I know that's not the easiest to do these days but they are marketing the shit out of this and thought it's not a favorite of mine, I really feel like Sober would blow up on the radio. That song could launch them into the mainstream with the more pop driven crowd.

@Jason Tate you should revert the site back to a blink-182 fan site in honor of the new record. Just for 24 hours lol.

Saw the record was up on Spotify now so I decided to take this thing out for a walk and finally give it a listen. Some first reactions:

Cynical- I love how the album starts with just Mark and guitar, the drums got me pumped and Matt's part is great. One of my favorites for sure.
Bored to Death- Think I liked this one even more in the context of the record. It's one of the standouts.
She's Out of Her Mind- I think this was my favorite off the first listen. Love the melody and the cheesy lyrics work.
Los Angeles- First part of the record that loses me. Just don't think this sound looks all that good on them. At least not yet, maybe it's a grower.
Sober- Can kind of hear the pop country vibes you guys were mentioning. This isn't my favorite but I like the "dandelion/four life clover" line and it's a nice change of pace.
Built This Pool- Still think this is a completely harmless little joke song and I like its spot on the track listing.
No Future- Definitely one of my favorites. Skiba's verse/bridge is a highlight. Hope this makes the setlist.
Home Is Such A Lonely Place- I didn't like this at first but as the song went on I got wrapped in. I love that they branched out and went with a ballad. This could become one of my favorites.
Kings of the Weekend- There's not really any memorable riffs on this record so I'm glad this made it. The chorus has got a great old school Blink vibe.
Teenage Satellites- Most forgettable track for me. There's nothing going on here that stands out.
Left Alone- Good chorus for sure but I'm not really feeling the verses here. I think this is another grower.
Rabbit Hole- I was surprised at how mixed the reaction was to this. I think it's got an awesome 90s punk vibe. One of my favorite choruses on the record.
San Diego- I fucking love this track. Might be my favorite. The chorus is huge, Matt sounds so good on this album.
TOTTM- Another old school sounding cut. I think this would go over really well live.
California- not a huge fan of this, although it fits as the proper closer. I've never been a fan of Blink's closing tracks. Their openers are usually always fire, so it's disappointing they haven't put out a great closer, besides I'm Lost Without You maybe.
Brohemian Rhapsody- musically it's great, the joke is pretty lame. I don't mind it because it's so short but California would have been perfectly fine as the last thing here

Honestly, I'm really happy and pleasantly surprised by this. I didn't expect Blink to release something I could genuinely enjoy in 2016 and they proved me wrong. Can't wait for the show on July 30th.

Whoa, opening with "Cynical" and ending with "Hey I'm Sorry" kind of work thematically, at least.

Better than the frat joke choir.

See that it's on Apple Music, guess I'll jump in. Annoying that Google Play hasn't updated yet.

    Edit: It's up! Travisssssssss

In regards to the album length, I think it speaks to the confidence they had in this album to go with 16 tracks. Mark had said around the Neighborhoods cycle that he thought 10 tracks was the perfect length for a record. I think they could have cut the 2 joke tracks, LA, and Teenage Satellites if they really wanted to tighten up the record, but I don't mind the length.

So I had the listening party tonight with my friends and then listened to the album two more times afterwards. To start off with the good, I can get behind the overall vibe and sound of the record. It does really seem like blink in 2016. My favorites after these first few listens are actually every song from No Future up to including California(Minus Rabbit Hole, it's eh). Some really good hooks there as well as awesome vocals by Matt and drumming by Travis. My qualms though. I think Los Angeles is the worst song on the album. Not because of the electronic aspect of it but because I can't stand the chorus. I don't find it catchy at all even though I dig the more meaty guitars in the song. Makes me wish theyd try to make an eazycore song instead lol. I also didn't like Sober much at first but that chorus is so damn good that I started to like the overall song more in those subsequent listens. The riff in Kings of the Weekend makes me wish there were more of those sprinkled in the album so I can see why people were saying that earlier. Last bit of criticism, I wish they'd jam out more. The ending of California is one of my favorite parts since they drag out that outro. I wish they would have just jammed instead of trying to fill every space of a song with vocals, like adding whoas and na na na's( works in some songs though)

I know I mentioned some of the same complaints as other people but I can see why now. I'm going on a long drive tomorrow during the day and will for sure have this playing so I can only see this getting better from now on. Im very pleased with the record

Yea, "Hey I'm Sorry" is really good. Matt's lines on this are straight up Alkaline Trio, I love it.

And yea, I love this album way too much to mess with the tracklisting and put songs out of order. I'm just gonna throw Hey, I'm Sorry at the end and pretend it's the real closer.
