Sabres extend Jake McCabe for 3 years, 1.6 mil per. Pretty good price for how well he is developing.

 

Love Ek but man that Seth Jones contract is so nice

 

I like how he says per source when panthers beat writer reported that like a week ago that they would do this as soon as July 1st hit.

Staple just said the other day the Oilers asked for Hamonic and the Islanders refused that so ether that's a lie or it was a different package.

 

I'd love for the Devils to go after Okposo hard. He kills the Devils every year and he's a fantastic player, I think he'd fit our system very nicely.

I totally forgot he started the Carolina to Las Vegas rumor.

 

Haven't heard a single peep about the Flyers. I know Hextall is good at keeping things under wraps but this stinks.

I know they're still one year or so away from being an actual contender so this is expected but bleh.

 

Yesterday one of the hosts on NHL Radio referred to Stamkos as the "Macedonian Assassin" and I couldn't stop giggling for about 10 minutes. Also today is glorious because Mattius Ohlund's contract is expiring.

If Bruins don't get one of Eriksson, Okposo, Demers, or Campbell, I will see today as a failure.

However I wouldn't hate to see Hamhuis, Liles, Perron, or Stempniak to get deals, but they are a much lesser priority

Seems like Campbell to the Hawks is all but a done deal as well

 

Why the crap would anyone sign in Vancouver at this stage? Season hasn't even started yet and they've already been mathematically eliminated from the playoffs.

 

I just want the Leafs to pick up some solid vets to show the kids how to role.
