i laughed so hard when i read that story but also felt real bad for those people lol

 

I got the impression that as long as people were respectful, they were fine with fans visiting the house. I was there right around when that article was published, and they had a cute sign that said something to affect of “Goonies on foot are welcome to come up the driveway and take a picture” which is what we did. It was super cool and one of my favorite memories of that trip. But yeah, parking in their driveway and blocking the roads around that neighborhood is obviously shitty.

He was one of the most gifted and talented actors in the business. A legend. Will always miss how captivating he was on screen.

 

What's everyones favorite movie he was in? I really haven't seen many, I still need to see the last one he starred in I believe it was released posthumously. I loved him in The Mexican though.

 

True Romance is up there of course.

Enough Said was sooooo good.

I also never saw Killing Them Softly because I heard mixed things, but I should watch it just for him.

 

For what its worth, he's one of the best parts of the film. I think critics were a little hard on the film. I still like it a lot.

 

Killing Them Softly is an awful movie, but it’s not Gandolfini’s fault.

My favorite ongoing joke. Just heard it towards the end of season 3 again hahaha.

 

I wish Barbara was utilized more. I understand she was the outsider of the Soprano siblings that lived the legit life but she could have been the voice of reason.

 

I liked how rarely she came up. It would have been difficult to integrate her into many of the storylines while also keeping her completely straight. I always viewed her existence as Chase’s way of not giving the audience a way out in thinking that Tony “doesn’t have a choice.” She’s proof that he could have lived a different life.

 

Halfway through my Deadwood rewatch to get to the movie, but I’ve got my 3rd time through Sopranos on deck for after. Can’t wait to read the Zoller book and that Autopsy website someone posted.
