We've talked about this before in the last couple of months, but a plan like this it's almost incalculable how much of an impact this would have on the U.S. economy, to free up that much money from debt and transfer it to the economy instead. Warren or Sanders, I'm reallllyyyyy hoping one of those two can win next year

"California Gov. Gavin Newsom (D) told "Axios on HBO" that it’s highly likely Republicans will wind up as a third party nationally in 10 to 15 years because of their "xenophobia" and "hyper-masculinity."

    • "They are finished," Newsom said at his office in Sacramento.
    • White men, Newsom says, were "sold a complete bill of bullshit ... It’s just a yard of crap and it’s just damn sad."
    • Newsom says Trump often uses racism to whip up his mostly white male base: "He has blatantly expressed racist points of view and expressed them on multitudes of occasions during the campaign and since.

If only we had a severely over bloated military budget that we could use on veteran's healthcare instead

Beto’s War tax plan literally sounds like the premise of an episode of West Wing season 8.

  16. I know Scottie blocked me (coward) but it's true. Remember when Jimmy Smits invites his GE opponent Alan Alda to be his SoS because the one thing they could agree on was that war is good. Or when they "saved" social security by privatizing it. Incredible show with a great liberal message

lol currently watching Jimmy Smitts as the liberal candidate talk about how he's actually pro-life.

Lol I like the show fine. If you're getting your political ideals from Martin Sheen or an Aaron Sorkin script you've got bigger problems. (Obviously not meaning you personally)

lol it's the weirdest throwaway line because they literally NEVER acknowledge it again. It never causes any kind of conflict with him running a pro-choice campaign. It's like...the best example of how inconsistent and at times incredibly bad the writing got post Sorkin.
