Pretty sure that dude still loves Br*nd N*w

 

Nah, Jon from ARTV is cool. I like most of his videos, even when I disagree with his opinions on things. Like blink.

 

Don't know what the deal with Brand New is, other than that one dude who was accused of sexual harassment. Does that make the music bad? No. Then everyone should've stopped listening to NFG as well.

Not sure who I'm defending here, me or ARTV, haha. For the record, I don't listen to Brand New and never have.

 

J*sse L*cey used his position in the music scene and the power that came with it to manipulate underage girls for his own sexual gratification. None of the other members of Br*nd N*w have ever publicly spoken about the allegations or publicly held Jesse accountable for his actions. Their lack of condemnation fueled attacks by their fans on J*sse's victims for months afterwards. They're all cowards.

St*ve Kl*in was immediately kicked out of New Found Glory after the allegations against him came to light. The band made a public statement condemning him and even wrote a song about how disgusted they were by his actions ('The Worst Person').

When it comes to accountability the quality of the music is irrelevant.

The difference is NFG did the right thing, they completely cut ties with Steve once the news came out.

Also, Steve wasn't the main songwriter. Actually, according to the band, he really didn't write anything.

 

Ditto. Either way, they handled it the best way possible compared to other bands. This is why they are top notch guys in my book.

 

Did he end up getting those charges dropped?

Someone on Reddit designed and printed their own Blink trading cards, and they're actually awesome! I'd buy a pack!

 

I feel like whoever created this missed a big opportunity to have a picture of Rick DeVoee with the manager label on the front like they do/used to do with baseball cards with the managers. Also no Scott = no buys.

 

I mentioned that there should be a Scott one, but the guy said he couldn't find a good high-res photo of him from the right era, so he gave up on it. Including a Rick one is a great idea, haha.
