Brian Tyree Henry’s character in Child’s Play introduces himself as “Mike Detective” in one scene and it really threw me off

 

Hahaha, I just revisited the show last week, still sad they never did a second season

I'm glad I read this post before seeing the movie because that scene made me laugh out loud even knowing it was coming. If I had gone in blind I would have been disruptive.

I listened to the CBB one year anniversary episode yesterday, which features Tig’s epic Taylor Dayne story, and nearly died when Kroll as Bobby Bottleservice gave a shout out to DJ Oriental Immigrant who lays down crazy tracks

 

everyone is mad about louis coming back but idunno i feel like being relegated to doing shows at something called "skankfest" is pretty okay punishment

a cursory Google search led me to their subreddit /r/LegionofSkanks, and those "comedy" "fans" seem like the literal scum of the earth

it was a surprise drop-in

 

it was really sad that like the first thing he had to do to book a gig was go to Long Island

There are only 3 good ska albums and two of them are Keasby Nights.

 

I'll still go see Big D & the Kids Table when they play around here because I loved them in high school
