Haha looks like he was optioned down to triple A last night after the game.

 

This Braves team looks five times better than last years, yet we have the exact same record through 77 games as we did a year ago. However our lead in the division is 2 gams more.

Braves have 158 runs in the 7th inning or later.

 

I'm still super skeptical of the pitching staff as a whole and I feel like we'll get smoked by the Dodgers again. But the Braves lineup is crazy good and the bench is super deep. I will say the offense feels 5x better than last season.

I was actually hoping last night when he gave up three runs in the first inning that he'd just go ahead and give up like 10 runs so we could just be done with him. Glad he sucked hard enough to get sent down and we still won. lol

Pujols getting a curtain call from St. Louis is an all time great moment. I don’t remember ever seeing an opposing player receive one from the home team fans. Of course, Pujols is an all time Cardinal great and it makes a lot of sense in this context.
