I’d still rather play Halo 5 multiplayer than most other current gen FPS multiplayer though

 

I still enjoy some Halo 5 from time to time. Spend most of my FPS playing on MCC though.

5 was okay. Was certainly a step up from Reach and 4.

 

Right now being objective the only 3 franchises in my tier 1 are Pokemon, Zelda, and Mario. Final Fantasy (some very weak links) and Persona (not enough games) are in tier 2. Halo+others in tier 3.

 

Pokemon, Zelda, Resident Evil, Metal Gear

 

RE has too many mediocre to bad games imo

 

If you narrow it down from a cultural impact standpoint, it's really easy to see what the top ones are:

Mario, Zelda, Pokemon, Final Fantasy, Castlevania, Street Fighter, Mortal Kombat, Halo, etc.

 

Yeah, they really have some horrible entries. Can't deny their significance though.

 

RE quality dropped off a cliff after 4

5 was fun with a friend tho

 

Cultural impact it's obviously Golf Story

 

RE7 is one of the best. Both revelations are good too.

 

I will die on the hill that Skyward Sword is a legitimately great game. Same for Twilight Princess.

There has never been a bad Zelda game.

 

Zelda II for NES sucks im sorry it sucks

Yup it does

I get that it's old and was looked at as good for its time (probably idk) but old Mario games are still good (comparing for the sake of the convo) and Zelda II is not

Still a top tier series though and in the debate

 

Zelda II is so bizarre that I love it exists

 

Spirit tracks is bad

 

nooooooooooooooooooooooooooo come on it's not bad. Even lesser-tier Zelda games like Spirit Tracks and Phantom Hourglass are at least pretty good.
