My biggest plus to hearing their new album this past week is that I’ve been nonstop revisiting the whole discography.

1:27 is still one of the most bad ass songs ever written. For a band that didn’t feel compelled to continue on in the genre, they certainly released one of the most unique post-hardcore/emo albums ever with the best riffs. Some of the lead/rhythm parts in that album are so simple, yet I could never imagine trying to write in that style ever or be that creative. The lyrics may have been religious in spirit but I’ve always taken it in as a human struggle type vibe. Son is forever gonna be a favorited album for me.

Going back through their discography, I discovered that SILY really is my favorite ACB album and one of my favorites of all-time. Few albums speak to me quite like that record.

I’m atheist and I still relate to that album just because of how I interpreted the lyrics at that time in my life.

Existential thought of the day: How did Josh Scogin not lose his voice for eternity after that one scream in “Admission: Regret”?

Josh sounds like a monster on that single scream alone.

    I do not exist.

Josh is incredible and as much as I do love '68, I miss The Chariot a lot.

Onward, progress, or so it seems Supporter

This album has really grown on me in the last week. My favorites are Venture, Maybe, Die Contrary.

Also the beginning of Live Convinced with the dual vocals is so damn cool.

    Officially into this album.
Didn't think there was a chance in hell after 2020 AD came out that I'd like this at all.

I'm only saying it in a gentle whisper for now, but I think this is my favourite album in the first half of 2019...

Cody really shines and in a way you appreciate his moments more because TJ is obviously centre stage. There are some criticisms, particularly some of the lyrics ("I'm not afraid to die / really, really though I am afraid" has to be the low point for me, which is a shame because I get the sentiment and the end of that song is one of the best moments on the album). I also love the HOHW elements that come through. And then there are just great songs throughout. The more I listen, the more I enjoy. I'm impressed.

Copeland and As Cities Burn putting out the best albums of the year thus far like its 2005 wish I didn’t have back pain like I did back then.

So very surprised to see so many love it but hey, the band is awesome so congrats to them for still connecting with their fan base and even drawing in some new ones.

I keep forgetting that not only do I get to see ACB for the first time but also All Get Out, what a great show

Also wondering @Drew Beringer, do we still get to read your review? :-)

Anyone know what the setlist has been for this tour?

Nashville is a Sunday and I really don’t think I can swing it with work the next morning.

It’s ok? I don’t think it’s bad it’s just kinda bland for the most part imo. Really love Die Contrary though and Broadway and Maybe are also good. I feel like the singles on this thing are probably the worst tracks

Agreed. 2020 I find to be the one that is unlistenable for me.

Hollowed Out is the part one to Die Contrary’s part two so if that’s getting slack as a single hard disagree
