Just remembered this example of a music video for a very short song.

 

So when my wife was pregnant with our son, she had Gestational Diabetes which basically meant that she had to live her life as a diabetic while pregnant. It was kinda crazy to learn about while we went thru that pregnancy, she had to adjust her diet, take her blood sugar levels, etc. and literally one of the first things the nurse told us after he was born was that she was good and could eat whatever now.

ANYWAY, all that is to say that the doctors, nurses, internet, everyone just refers to it as GD so this song has been a hoot to read about. haha.

It’s an okay song.

Blame it on my youth is much better and made me want to hear more of the record. This does very little for me.

 

Oh ya medical acronyms and band names were fun during med school/residency

MCR = Myocardial reflux/regurgitation
FOB = Frank occult blood

 

That song could have been so much better if it was longer! (sarcasm) But it would be funny if the music video says it's like 3 minutes long so people are like "OH SHIT IT'S THE FULL SONG NOW!" and then it turns out that it's 2:30 of the band just hanging out waiting to start, and then the song plays, and then it ends. haha.

 

Gestational Diabetes would be the wildest song title of all time! Either that or a band name for the kind of kids that try to replicate year 2000 blink haha.

Doesn't do anything for me and neither did the last song or most of California. I liked Cynical and Bored to Death but that's about where my enjoyment ends for this incarnation of the band. I'd like to think I would enjoy them more if Tom came back but I'm not even positive that would do the trick because I'm finding the person I'm enjoying the least in all of this new music is Mark. I'm glad old fans like it and it's bringing in a new audience but I feel like the Blink train passed my by..which is a bummer.

Maybe this is me now?

 

is mark singing "betta" or "better"? the pronunciation is bothering me but this is the first blink song i've liked since DED so i'll get over it

It looks like the offer isn't available for the Brooklyn show. But I'm shocked at how low prices are dropping for other dates. The Hershey show has floor tickets for $19, and the Hartford show next weekend has decent seats for the deal, too. Looks like a lot more tickets have moved for that since I last checked.

 

He's experienced far worse from aliens so it makes sense why he wouldn't be phased.
