the vocal effect really cuts through in the mix, that's for sure. but the more i listen to it, the more it sounds mostly okay to me, especially when i try focusing just on Mark's voice.

generational divide: lmao what the fuck is this? sounds like a bad california b-side that they were too lazy to write a chorus for. like, if the point of the song is "you say you want us to be "punk" again, well here's a "punk" song!" (which is laughable in and of itself) feldman was absolutely the wrong producer to use here. i'm sure it'll work better in the context of the album but releasing it on its own was not the move at all

theres no way someone isn't going to make an "extended" version by the end of today. between extending Cynical and Brohemian, "old blink/Tom" style versions of just about everything from California on, and pitched up versions of Neighborhoods and DED songs to sound like younger Tom, i wonder if theres any other band whose had their musical output revised by fans as much as blink lol
