So the structure of the philly show for those wondering is openers went on at 8 to 8:30, nothing from 8:30 to 9, lonely island from 9 to 10:10.

It was very good. Production value was very high, love what they did as a stand in for Timberlake, and overall a very smooth performance.

 

You basically got your answer already but this reminded me, getting to this show was literally one of the worst driving experiences of my life. It was raining in DC so naturally everyone forgot how to drive, and I couldn't find parking for literally over an hour. Ended up having to park like a mile away and Uber from the parking garage. I was really stressed that I was gonna miss the opening of the TLI set but luckily I walked in right when Kate Berlant and John Early were ending

 

Last night was probably the most fun I've had a concert/comedy show/whatever

 

My two roommates and I got a trio of Style Boyz crewnecks last night.

 

Was it a muppet stand-in like they did for Lady Gaga in their previous one-off shows?

the first time i saw them, it was the extended stay america in glendale, the second time it was the Ross dress for less parking lot. my favorite bit.

I have the dialogue tracks from Popstar in my iTunes library and I always laugh at “Any ideas?” “One...but you are gonna like it” whenever it comes up in shuffle

 

"I got a hot new single coming... we're gonna be surprise releasing it next Thursday at noon" never fails to get me

 

The hardest I laughed in the theater was the scene with Maya Rudolph and people dropping n-bombs and Tim Meadows goes, "Okay... w-with the hard "r"

 

Seth Meyers is one of the openers in NYC tonight

I wonder if the guys wearing Bash Bros jerseys got them just for the show, major flex

 

no Kenan but Birbiglia opened and Stephanie Beatriz did the intro

it was wild hearing sing alongs

 

How did this movie not make a billion dollars

 

It didn’t have Kevin Hart in it
